It’s a running joke when we go out East to rub hops each harvest… “Yeah, I like everything about it… I just wish it popped more.” It turns out that “popping more” can be an incredibly difficult thing to quantify for a sensory panel that is trying to screen hop lots & apparently is even more frustrating when you have extremely intelligent individuals with millions of dollars of lab equipment hearing that on a continuous basis.

In this case, we featured Idaho 7 from our buds at @yakimachief & put them out to pasture with Cryo Pop—a blend Yakima Chief specifically formulated for dry hopping during primary fermentation.⁣ Yeah, I like it… But can we make it pop?
