Glass of golden beer in BlackStack Brewing

Certified Pre-Owned from BlackStack Brewing

What do you do when two of your favorite Twin Cities breweries team up and make a beer together? Get there, fast, to give it a try! This double-dry-hopped IPA is a collaboration with Modist Brewing, where both breweries worked together to make a special oat milk in the Minneapolis brewery’s mash filter, and then they each brewed a beer with it. BlackStack’s is dry hopped with Azacca, Strata, Sabro and Galaxy hops, all of which have complex, tropical flavor profiles. The resulting beer is silky smooth from the oats with a fruity flavor so pronounced that it feels as though the beer should have been served with a little umbrella. Oddly, it felt like just the right thing to drink in the dead of winter.

Alcohol by Volume (ABV): 8 percent

Reading about BlackStack Brewing in that old canning factory makes me want to explore such unique spaces, though my coffee-break scrolling usually just shows me doll generator ads.

Collaborations like this are always exciting because they bring together different brewing styles and ideas, and Sillky sounds like the perfect winter IPA with its smooth mouthfeel and bright tropical hop character. It’s a great reminder that creativity often comes from combining strengths, whether it’s in craft beer or in other hobbies—I get a similar feeling when discovering fresh themed ideas on Fargeleggingssider.com.
